SAD VICTORY FOR DHARMADASA AT AL FORSAN
March 30, 2023GREAT PERFORMANCES AT DAMC RD 4.
May 30, 2023The last double header round of the RMC UAE has taken place at Al Ain Raceway. This important final event of the season was surrounded by a lot of hopes from the drivers battling for their category titles. Our line up included Reaan Dharmadasa (Mini Max), Jeffrey Tachajian (Micro Max) and the former World Champion in the IAME Shifter Tom Bale (DD2).
Reaan pushed the whole week end beyond the limit to try to accord the points lost in Al Forsan but the bad luck effected his first day result despite a very quick pace. In the second day Reaan moved forward taking back all his strength and being able to score a fantastic P2 overall in the Final after a great battle with his direct opponents Peruzzi e Bobrashov.
In the Micro category the Canadian/lebanese Jeffrey scored a double P8 with some great moves and a very consistent pace all over the racing week end.
Tom Bale, after some years far from the karting tracks, did amazing at the wheel of his CL DD2. Double pole, incredible comebacks and a P2 in the second day Final: these are the highlights af his incredible debut with our team.
Paolo Necchi (Team Principal): “A double podium was exactly our target but to be honest Tom would deserved a victory at least in pone of the two Final. Some penalties for the bumper pushed him out the deserved first step of the podium. I am very happy for Reaan’s week end as he shown a very aggressive and focus attitude despite some strange decisions made by the stewards after the first day Final. He was always very quick and the P2 scored in the second day Final is the right reward for all his efforts. Great job also for Jeffrey who, despite his lack of training in the circuit, shown a very good racing attitude confirming his progress since he started his adventure with us.” We are for sure disappointed to have missed the championship podium with Reaan but that’s racing and we have learnt a lot from this season being now ready to get ready even better for the next season”.
