ROLLERCOSTER WEEK END FOR OUR ACADEMY DRIVERS.

Al Ain Raceway has hosted the second round of the Rotax Max Challenge UAE and our two drivers Marc Bassier (Junior Max) and Reaan Dharmadasa (Mini Max) has pushed their CL chassis to the limit to overcome the big challenge on track. The event has been spliced in two days of races with two different qualies, heats, Pre Finals and Finals giving the chance to each driver to score a lot of points in their own standings. For Reaan the week end has been basically perfect with only a crash in the Saturday’s Final which pulled him back from the podium. A P2 in the Sunday Final and a P9 in the Saturday one lead him to the second step of the series behind the leader. For Marc Bassier, instead, the whole week has been really challenging with some set up issues and some crashes ( a very bad one in the second Final) who putted him in the condition to not score the deserved results (P20 and P26).

Paolo Necchi (Team Principal): ” We are happy about Reaan performances but sad on the other side for the incident on Saturday which compromised another sure podium. We are instead sorry for Marc who despite is effort didn’t scored the results wanted mostly due to some unfair driving from other drivers. Let’s move to the next one in Oman.”
