READY FOR A NEW SEASON!

As usual, before the start of the season, we met with our Team Principal, Paolo Necchi, to find out what the plans are for the upcoming season

Q: In which championships will you be competing in the 2024-2025 season?
“We have, of course, confirmed our participation in the RMC UAE, but this year we have also decided to enter the IAME UAE full-time, so we will have a dual commitment throughout the season. In addition to these two championships, we will also be participating, as in the past, in non-championship races organized by both Rotax and IAME, for a total of 28 races between September and May. It’s certainly a demanding commitment for the team, but also very exciting.”

Q: How many drivers will you have on track this season?
“We plan to have 12 drivers on track with our racing team, many of whom are returning members, along with a few new entries.”

Q: What other new developments are planned for the season?
“There are many new developments. First and foremost, we will be using the new OTK CS55 chassis for the first time this season, and we have high expectations for them. The team will also have a new tent, almost 120 square meters, with a well-equipped hospitality/telemetry area. Additionally, we’re introducing an internal scholarship program that will reward the top 3 drivers who perform the best, not only on the track, at the end of the season. Beyond karting, the team will also be involved in car racing, participating in several Track Days at Dubai and Yas Marina, as well as some races in the Gulf Procar series.”

Q: What about the Academy’s activities? Any news?
“The Academy’s activities have become a solid part of our daily operations. We will continue training new drivers and preparing them for their racing debut with our team. This year, the real innovation is the new training program dedicated to the Bambino category (ages 5 to 8).”
