AL FORSAN ULUCKY FOR OUR DRIVERS.
April 5, 2022PAOLO NECCHI REVIEWS OUR 2021-2022 SEASON.
May 24, 2022The season is defintaley over and our team celebrate the 3rd place overall in the Junior Max category. The UK driver Harry Hannam, at the end of a very suffered week end, stepped into podium in the most crowded category in the the whole series. 29 drivers attended the final double header fo the season and on this amazing field our 3 Junior’s made a very impressive performance. Harry, despite some major issue with his engine, has been able to score the right point to end the season in P3 overall after being in the fight for the title for more then the half of the season. Some bad luck in the R4, R5 and R6 pulled him out from the title challenge but the pace shown during the overall season proves his great talent. In the R8 and R9 Harry scored a P6 and a P7 which are not the results he really deserved but were enough to grab the podium in the overall championship standing.
Another amazing week end for Sofia Necchi, constantly in the top positions.Sofia’s racing pace was really impressive and only a contact in the R8 Final prevented her to score a double TOP 10 in the Finals. By the way Sofia, thanks to her final results, climbed the standing ending in P8 overall out of more then 30 drivers.
Big improvements also for our third Junior driver Marc Bassier who pushed really hard to get his best from his kart and fought “elbows high” with the others to score P14 in the R9 Final.
Up’s and down’s in the final event for pur Mini driver Reaan Dharmadasa. Along thew whole week end the driver from Sri Lanka did not get the proper performance from his engine. A double P6 in the two Finals was the best he could do on this conditions and the P7 overall in the championship standing is not exactly what he really deserved. A great season for the Mini “rookie” who definitely boost him into the next one with a better expectations.
Paolo Necchi: “We are really delighted for Harry’s Junior Max podium, The category is absolutely the toughest of the entire series and for us, being the last comer as a team, is a really honour to be already at that stage. It’s also a bit pity to have lost the chance to fight for the title in the middle of the season but overall we can’t complain. We learnt a lot from some mistakes and next season will be better. I want to give my congratulations to Sofia for the amazing end of the season, to Marc for improving very much his driving skill and to Reaan who never gave up despite some very unlucky moment. Onto the next season!”
