GREAT START OF THE SEASON FOR OUR BOYS/GIRLS

A very positive season opener for our drivers in the first round of the DAMC, held at the Dubai circuit. In the Micro category, Ben Karajkovic showed great determination, finishing the first heat in P2, just a few thousandths from victory, the second heat in P3, and the Final again in P2, before receiving a post-race penalty that dropped him to P6. In the Junior category, Enea Sacchi, after a first heat not at his best (P8), was involved in a highly competitive second heat, finishing in P16 after a penalty, and a very intense Final where he crossed the finish line in P9. In the Senior category, Daniel Mohajeri had an excellent debut, recovering from a retirement due to an accident in the first heat and a P11 (with penalty) in the second, to finish in P7 in the Final. Finally, a great first podium of the season for Sofia Necchi in the DD2 category, at the end of a challenging weekend due to engine and gearbox issues.

Daniel did very well on his debut in a category as competitive as Senior, and Enea showed both grit and speed. As for Sofia, she could have aimed for victory if it hadn’t been for the numerous technical problems we faced throughout the weekend.”
