STUNNING PERFORMANCE FOR DHARMADASA IN MUSCAT.
January 23, 2023O PLATE 2023: FAST BUT….
January 30, 2023The Round 4 of the RMC UAE has been her at Dubai Kartdrome, the home track for our team. For this special event we have welcomed two new drivers Jeffrey Tachajian (Micro Max) and George Demenagas (Junior Max) as part of our racing team. On top of that we were happy to see back on track our flying lady Sofia Necchi for her second race in the Max category. A big expectations for a great result was really boosting our drivers Marc Bassier, Reaan Dharmadasa, Sofia Necchi, Jeffrey Tachajain and George Demenagas and all the team staff worked a lot to support our drivers in the best way possible. For the Novice Jeffrey (he just got the racing licence at the beginning of the racing week end) his first race was full of learning which led him to improve his racing pace race by race. For him a P2 in the novice standing that proves his potential towards the second part of the season. Sofia Necchi, despite a little physical problem and the lack of training shown a great pace starting the Final in P4 and scoring a P8 overall under the chequered flag only because of a little desease. Reaan had a sad end of the weekend with a DNF due to engine problems after being as usual super fast in the heats. For the other novice George (first race ever) the Junior category competition challenged him to the limit but he managed to avoid some hot moneys on track, setting some very good lap times and and scoring a P27 not far from his category team mante Marc (P20).
Paolo Necchi (Team Principal): ” We are happy to have increased our numbers in the team and the new comer despite the lack of experience made a great job. Shame for Sofia who had to slow down in the Final for a physical problem and for Reaan who missed the fight for the victory for an engine problem. Shame also for Marc whom after some issues in qualy struggled to come back during the week end.”
