DHARMADASA STEPS ON PODIUM AND BASSIER FLIES IN JUNIOR.

The 2022-2023 RMC UAE season kicked off at Al Ain Raceway and our two driver Reaan Dharmadasa (Mini Max) and Marc Bassier (Junior Max) made an impressive performance. For the young driver from Sri Lanka this first round was the perfect chance to start the season with a full attack attitude which led him constantly to the TOP 3 in the Mini category during the event. After a P4 in qualy, Reaan scored a double P2 in the heat and pre final and a P3 in a Final.

For Marc Bassier the week end has been super intense with a 31 drivers entry list and a load of fights track in any heats. With a P10 in qualy Marc drove amazing in the heat (P5) and in the Pre Final (P6) fighting hard with the other drivers and making some very skilled moves. In the Final, after another great start, he got pushed put by another driver loosing more then 10 positions and being forced to push a lot to come back. As a result Marc took the chequered flag in P14 which became P17 for a 5 sec penalty got after the end of the race due to the incorrect position of the front bumper.

Paolo Necchi (Team Principal): “I am very happy about my driver’s performances. Reaan shown a very high level of focus during the whole week end and he just need to more aggressive on the moves. Marc impressed me with a very tactic and aggressive driving after a start of the week end pretty much difficult. We are confident to keep this pace during the season and we are waiting our line up to grow very soon.”
